About Us
Bob and Nicole Haskett have always had a passion for northern Michigan. While growing up in metro Detroit, vacations in northern Michigan were always the happiest memories. In 2008, the couple was married on Mackinac Island and began spending more free time in the Upper Peninsula. As they explored the natural beauty of the U.P. they decided this was the area they’d like to call home and made the decision to move their family full time. In 2017, they purchased Maple Ridge Resort and moved to Michigamme with their two year-old daughter, Lacey. In July 2017 they welcomed their second daughter Josie, and a son, Drake, in December 2020. The Haskett’s are excited to continue the tradition of northern hospitality at Maple Ridge Resort, and look forward to meeting you on your next visit.
The Resort
Maple Ridge Resort has been welcoming guests for generations in clean, comfortable, accommodations with an abundance of nature to see and explore. With over 600 feet of Lake Michigamme shoreline and 20 acres you have found the right lakeside resort vacation destination!
Our spacious guest rooms offer 1,000 square feet of living space and include two bedrooms, a complete kitchen with full size appliances and cookware, a comfortable living room and clean bathroom. All rooms have flat screen TVs, free wi-fi, and access to our deck and barbecue grill. Fishermen will love the protected harbor for docking boats, fish house with electric and water for cleaning fish and charging trolling motors and quick and easy access to the boat ramp. Spend your days relaxing lakeside on our lawn, splashing in the shallow shorelines or exploring the many miles of trails in the area. We offer two pet-friendly rooms so your furry family members can be part of your vacation memories! We look forward to hosting your next U.P. getaway!
